RCSD News: Board Appoints Drew Zinser as Director

The Rossmoor Community Services District is pleased to announce the appointment of Andrew "Drew" Zinser to its Board of Directors, filling the recent board vacancy. Director Zinser steps into this public governance role with a deep commitment to maintaining the exceptional quality of life, park spaces, and community services that define the unincorporated community of Rossmoor.

 

Director Zinser has been a proud resident of Rossmoor for over eight years and was born and raised in Orange County. Alongside his wife, he is actively raising his three children in the neighborhood. Over nearly a decade, he has embedded himself in Rossmoor’s family-centric culture as a frequent volunteer coach for local youth athletics, including:

 

  1. Local Youth Baseball Leagues
  2. AYSO Soccer
  3. Friday Night Lights (FNL) Football

 

In addition to youth coaching, Director Zinser is deeply involved in local public service and civic governance. He previously served on the board of the Rossmoor Homeowners Association (RHA), bridging vital neighborhood feedback directly to district priorities.

 

Director Zinser brings more than 20 years of high-visibility corporate management and strategic leadership to the RCSD Board. He currently serves as the head of Corporate Sponsorship Partnerships for the Angels Baseball Club, overseeing major partnership initiatives across the professional team, radio network, and television stations.

His extensive professional experience in sports and entertainment has cultivated a rapid, analytical approach to complex issue resolution, with a constant focus on how individual administrative decisions impact large groups of stakeholders and residents.

 

Director Zinser’s dedication to community mentorship and economic collaboration extends across Orange County through multiple board seats:

 

  1. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Orange County – Corporate Board Member assisting with regional fundraising and widespread mentorship initiatives.
  2. Orange County Business Council – Board Member working to integrate local business partnerships across the county.
